HRP International is officialy registered at the chamber of commerce in Den Haag (The Hague, the Netherlands) on 4 June 2003. The registration number is 27259417. You can visit the site of the chamber of commerce to verify this data : www.kvk.nl. HRP International stands for 'Hotel Reservation Pages International'. 'Hotel Pages' already was registered by a different company, hence the difference between the name of the company and the name of the web site.

HRP International is a small business company, the manager of the company is mr. Danyo Romijn. After finishing University of Computer Science (Information Technology) successfully he became a software developer with databases as specialization. Nowadays he works for the University of The Hague and his hobbies include making web sites, making synthesizer music, travelling and some sports. The combination of interest in travelling and making web sites, together with the opinion that many other hotel sites don't work in a user friendly way, brought him to the idea of making a hotel reservation website himself. That was in November 2001 and it took about one year and a half to finish the project.

It is true that already many other hotel sites are on-line for a longer time and are much more established than Hotel Pages. So why do we need 'another hotel site' ? Why is Hotel Pages so different than all other hotel sites ? First of all Hotel Pages is not so much different than other hotel sites, since the formula is basically the same. But there are certainly differences worth to mention :

• Hotel Pages never will dispay annoying advertisement banners or pop-ups.
• You will never find (blind) links to other sites, which have no connection with hotels.
• Your screen won't look like a gambling machine with all kinds of animations.
• We never sell or give away e-mail addresses of our members or guests !
• We never will display an overview with 100 pictures of hotels, which takes hours to download.
• Hotel Pages offers accommodation for the budget traveller too, so not only 4 and 5 star hotels.
• Accommodation all over the world means in almost every country,
  so we don't limit ourselves to Europe and United States.
• We don't offer 700 hotels in one city, which makes it impossible to choose for a guest.
  We prefer to present a selected offer of hotels in different classes.

As you can see Hotel Pages is not the kind of company that only is concerned about money. For us the quality of the web site and the user friendliness of our service is far more important.

Also the safety of our customers is important for us and for that reason some countries are excluded as travel destination (Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Israël/Palestina).

HRP International is at this moment still a small company, but works with some volunteers and free lancers. In the future it is possible that HRP International will become a company with more employees, but this is not one of the major targets.

The main target of HRP International is to make Hotel Pages a successful hotel web site, with a high satisfaction level for the hotels, guests and the company itself.

Hotel Pages strives after a wide range offer of accommodation world wide. We hope to be able to offer you at least a hotel in every major city in almost every country.
